What 19 in. rims for a Silver 03 Maxima SE?

Im looking to lower the ride and buy 19 inch chrome rims...

First of all, is chrome my best option? please give me your opinions.

Also, I am not looking to spend a ridiculous amount of money - I am not in competition nor trying to beat the looks of the next car.

I need something that looks good, not bulky, not goofy looking.

Also, what tire sizes are best with 19 inch rims ?

Please post links, pics and what not / Give me some to browse through.

Thanks.

Personally I dislike chrome, I think grey or some sort of gunmetal look is sweet on a Maxima. Especially in a city like Chicago, I would want something less flashy.

Chrome wheels are gay. If you want 19's, Get G35 Coupe wheels.

Another one against chrome rims here.

PS, you're new here, there is no reason to start another thread to ask the same question. Doing stuff like that will get your threads closed and members will not want to help you. Just friendly advice

I'm not a fan of chrome wheels on Maxima's either. I do like the suggested recommendations so far.

I also agree with Rod, although you do have a few options with Infinity rims, and most of them are siiiikk! But, most of them are also 18's. I'm not sure if the 350/370Z rims (the 5 spokes) come in 19, but those are sikk too. Be advised that if you're wanting factory 19's, you're still looking to spend between 400 - 800 for rims alone. Browse through the picture threads and see what you like best, then go to your local craigslist or the org's wheel and tire classifieds. Most of the members ask very fair prices. Good luck!

Yup there are a bunch of cheap Nismo and 350,370,g37 rims that stress 19 also, some are too aggressive for the maxima though, check the specs first

But as I am looking, I may end up with some g35's .

Thanks everyone and continue giving me your input

How about asking YOURSELF how much you want to lower it...since it'll be you who has to replace the axles every two months if you go lower than 3"

if you get rid of the gap and drive it as a daily slammed, you will be replacing axles. Sad truth, sorry to break it to you.

Spooooooonfeeding is a job best left to google. Check back here when you have questions that are reasonable, like posting wheel specs before asking if they will fit. Research man, research

I was gonna say the same thing...
1) look at the picture threads and find what you like.
2) check out shiftice's link on suspension drops
3) go to a local meet so you can see other's drops and rims up close.
4) do a search for suspension, lowering, coilovers, etc. You WILL find all your answers, trust me.
It's not that nobody's interested in helping you, it's just that it gets really old for these guys to see/answer the same old questions. It's easier for them to help you decide between a couple different options, or if you are unsure of a decision, but vague, general questions drive everyone up the wall. Do some searching, educate yourself, there's more than sufficient information. Believe me, everything you want to know and more is here, you just gotta search. Good luck!

Also you can't buy rwd rims and put them on a maxima.

A wider rear rim with a deeper lip on a fwd car, well, just no, no, no. No.
