Replaced a few things but front end still thumps
Hey guys I have replaced
1. Struts
2. Struts mounts
3. Sway Bar Endlinks
4. All four motor mounts
Here is my info for the car
Locationg: Arizona
mileage: 155k
Still running super strong

And my thump is still there (especially front right)
. The weird thing is that my thump sound doesn't appear when I am on highway and smooth road. It only appear when I am in city especially when the speed is around 15-40 mph (uneven road). Even when I am sitting in the passenger side and putting my feet on the floor I can slightly feel the thump.

I also notice when idle (stationary), I turn my steering wheel all the way to the right(only right) then turn back a little bit to the left it makes a cluck (not thump its a clunk) sound. Could that be the reason why the thump sound exist?
I know my outer tie rod is bad (my mechanics said its working fine) but could that make a thumping sound?
My sway bar bushing look just fine, could it be shot?
Trying to fix the right thing to save money

Totally repair costed me alot already, but the noise is getting very annoying (must get it out!).
Any suggestion would be great! THANKS!

This sounds a little familiar but I haven't figured it out for myself.. It's a fairly new clunking sound on my left side that I haven't figured out. My thought were possibly a bad ball joint, control arms, or motor mounts.

How is the wheel bearing over there? Did you try to see if the spindle had any play when you had the wheel off?

Particularly because it was happening in the driveway. I had to crank the wheel far to the right in order to get the clearance to back into my garage (because the turning radius on the Maxima SUCKS! /rant). Every once in a while I'd go to the full extent, and when turning the wheel back and backing up... Clunk! After new tie-rod ends, problem solved.
I just replaced my sway bar end links yesterday and got rid of 70% of my noise. I do need strut mounts too. So if you haven't done those yet I would replace them. It is 2 bolts each side and about 60 bucks for both. Again only if you haven't. Struts mount give you a deeper tone and sway bar in links are more of a light metal tingy sound. Mine were sounding like a rattle and vibration all in one. Heard them big time at lower speeds like under 60.

Hope your get cured after changing the struts...
Does a bad hub make thump noise? I thought it just makes a humming noise

Take a look at the steering rack bushings. Take a long screw driver or pry bar and put it in between the rack and k-frame. The rack should not move. If it does then the rack bushings are shot. This could be the source of your clunking sound. Report back your findings....
Finally, after half year of rattle, clunking and thump sound the is finally GONE.
It was the piston rod nut that wasn't tight! After tighting it, the noise went away!!!!!!

All the parts I have replaced are crucial to cure any noise!
But here is the problem, do you guys know what is the best torque for the piston rod nut? I searched the forum that people would say from 20-60 ft/lb?
