I've already got an extra valve cover for that exact reason. shoot me a price and we'll talk.
also want the intake manifold done, but I've been quoted $400 for it once before. little rich for my blood there!

Hmm.... polished VE cover eh? ....awfully tempting! "How much" is the question!

(oh yeah, and I hope that doesn't get rid of the red "Twin Cam" logo)

do you VG guys want a polished valve cover or intake manifold?

I've got a polished intake manifold sitting in my garage. first $120 takes it. (Shipping is covered in the $120)

I'm interested in chromed valve cover and a intake manifold.
But yeah I'd interested in a polished VE valve cover.

Prices

The valve cover will be around $130. The intake manifold should be alittle less than $300. Is there only one version of VG valve cover? Is there only one version of VE valve cover? As for the intake manifold, how many versions are there? I know for the 4th gen, there are three different versions of upper intake manifold.

Matt,
On the VG, looks like you have to take the intake manifold off to get to the front valve cover right? Anyway, I'll shoot you an e-mail on price you are asking for them.

I've only ever seen 1 version of each. Would this be on a core-charge basis?

on the VE, the valve covers are the same, but the intake manifold is seperate for auto and stick.

on the VG, all the intake manifolds are the same, at least according to the junkyard parts lists (which are usually accurate). All valve covers are the same, but they're regular stamped steel covers, like you'd see on a V8.. they're not the aluminum jobs like on the VE and VQ.
