I was wonderin what the lowest you have seen these in the 17x8 size? Cause I was lookin around and the best I found was 199 per wheel. Any help would be appreciated.
Buddy - IT'S WORTH IT.
These wheels look great but perform better.
There doesn't seem to much of discount on these anywhere.
But they are still a deal. Hell -people pay upwards of $700 for stock 16 inchers.
Good stuff I tell ya.

They weigh around 38 to 40LBS with a tire.
Feel much lighter thatn the stock 16" wheel.
I put 235/45 -17 Potenza's and it tottaly transformed the car. You can crank the wheel at 45mph and it will tottaly slice up a 90 degree turn. Cloverleaves and exits ramps at 80+ are a breeze. Just hold on - The cars limits are way above other traffic, not to mention the competition. Very stable.
Also I have a couple of bars on the car which help with balance.
Many 17" are similar in performance, but these take the great looks of the stock Max and increase it, in addition to enhancing the fun.
MANY compliments on them as well. Nice fat spoke's look meaty, yet still retain the classy refined look.
Good stuff.. really.

Francis has 17" Borbet Type Es on his 96 Max and he's told me they are much heavier than his stockers. He said his Max is a bit slower with the larger wheels.
Remember that even if the wheels weigh nearly the same as the stockers, the weight is now further out on the rim making it harder for the engine to turn the wheels. Your car will be slower. This is the same exact reason I'm going with a set of superlight 16s vs my 17s.

If i was to do it all over again i would go with some lightweight 16" wheels....

Overtime, I came to realize that what's the point of spending $300 to be .3 seconds quicker when the 17" wheels are gonna negate the benefits of the added hp? But listen, I'm not trying to change your mind. I'm a "performance" guy and you might be a "looks" guy. I just want to inform you of the good and bad when adding aftermarket wheels.
