My 00 5spd SE is bone stock. I was going to wait for the bumper-bumper warranty to expire (my wife wants me to extend it )prior to upgrading my Max. I read on Maxima.org and in R&T that Nissan will start offering NISMO performance products in the fall. These products will be factory backed and warrantied. I got on the NISMO site after waiting 20 minutes for the Japanese language support. The web site was a mess and I couldn't understand it. I'm looking for opinions as to what NISMO may offer and if it is worth waiting for the products to be available. I'm definitely attracted by these parts carrying a factory warranty. Thanks.

 

Have you asked if the dealer will back up any aftermarket parts? Because you know NISMO is going to be pricy.

 

I haven't checked with the dealer yet. I don't think they will know anything until the parts come out. I figure the parts will be expensive but they will carry a warranty.

 

if the parts have a warranty that doesn't mean they will fix your car if it breaks. Only replace the part.

Most mods now have some kind of warranty.
