Tick tick tick now thwack thwack thwack

Hey ya,

Bought my 2010 SV with26k miles sounded and looked good now I have that tick tick most times when idle then thwack thwack once in a while when I accel at low rpms. Going in for my first 3700 oil change and want a hit list for what might be causing it. Read all other threads on the subject and have numerous possible causes but want a hit list to suggest to the specialist. What I do know is a nearly $40k vehicle shouldn't make these sounds at 29k mi so what can I throw out there to keep them honest? Because in my experience little sounds tend to get bigger and I don't want to get caught with my pants down.

Thanks,
Z

I don't know if you read Kawowski's threads, but might be worth a read.
