I just purchased my 2010 maxima sv premium/w 32k miles and I love it,At first when I drove it I was like wtf,The transmisson isnt shifting,but then I googled CVT lol.Anyways the car runs and drives great and upgraded from an 06 max fully loaded,But I have a few issues.One is the airbag lights comes and goes and now stays on all the time and 2 is that the cooled seats work for a few minutes and then cuts off.I went to the dealer and they said my manufacture warranty just expired in feb,but still warranty on my transmission.They gave me the option to add the extended warranty for close to 3 grand and told me that a new package will be offered in may.Is this serious issues?Has anyone expereinced something like this.Everything else is Awsome and a great car.

 

 

Nice maxima...i like your color choice...think black/white/silver look best on this car..the air bag light may be an issue you might want to look into ..a sensor issue or an airbag malfunctioning could be serious....its probably nothing, but id rather err on the side of caution.....the airconditioned seat is not a big deal.i mean id be upset if my new car didnt work like it should, but im not about to call it a big deal in the grand scheme of things

 

Did you get it form a Nissan dealer? How long have you had it? If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay as well. Hoping to pick up a CPO next week.

I would say if it's less than 30 days, they should do it in good faith but that's just me.

 

I agree fully with Rich. I bought my '10 from Carmax the end of Dec. noticed before the end of Jan the heated/cool seats didn't function. Nissan stated warranty ended in Sept although miles were only 25k. Carmax repaired due to a 30 day warranty. Make them repair you new car or contact Better Business. The seat is at least a $800 fix!

 

...and after you take care of that, hurry to the shop and put some tint on that BLAXIMA, nice whip son.

Thanks everyone....I actually got it for a really really great price....My cousin owned the car and I purchased it last week...the cars KBB was 26k but unfortunately my cousin had a bad gambling problem and needed the cash bad...So I offered him 15k cash and he took it....clean car and i know I can sell it for more and make a profit but im in love with it....Getting it limoed out this weekend and orderd the sport spoiler and gonna bypass the navi....Thats all I want to do...no rims,no sound...just tint and luxury!

Great deal, your cousin could have drove into any dealer and got more than $15k or took the title to a bank and got a loan for more than $15k

When I lived in CT you had to pay off the car to get the title. I took the 0% financing on my new car so I have a note this time but in MN they send you the title even though there is a loan on the car.
