I just my letter today also. It would be just my luck it will fail somewhere in the middle of a desert somewhere instead of at the dealer getting the oil changed.

It warps my brain that they just left a steering column lock off of my 2010 model. I guess somewhere around then they figured out that they were causing problems and just decided to not put them on the cars anymore. In my mind, that's a safety issue. Steering column locks exist to direct the car in the safest direction, should something happen and the car starts rolling unattended.
