well, finally added some flavor under the hood. plasti-dipped the engine cover. opinions are welcome!!!

 

given any thought to highlighting the raised letters with silver paint?

 

tried doing the letters in pearl black, ( cars a blue/black theme ) and could'nt do it cause plasti-dip is only able to do 2 layers at a time. the letters were white, and had it re-painted cause it looked kinda crappy.

I'm about finished with mine...color-matched BT4 and silver, alternating with the lettering (top lettering BT4, bottom lettering silver)

 

i actually had another member do mine and i wanted the letters in pearl black and he could'nt do it. kinda pissed about that, really looks kinda, eh. i like the colors, the blue is supposed to be bm1 like the car.

 

is the blue Plastidip?


I did my colormatch from a rattlecan, purchased at automotivetouchup.com...one can BT4 and one can clear

i think it would look better with letters crome'd or painted silver as mentioned earlier.

 

well, it aint gonna happen. it's a blue black themed car, adding silver is meh. but, i asked for opinions. maybe outline black center in silver? o, and yes the blue is dip

it took time man, i spend an average of 1 hour a week cleaning under the hood and i spent 2 hours this week polishing everything cause i'm going to a meet or 2.
