Possible to change 96 Grill to 97 Grill?

Hey maxima riders, I always like the 1997 nissan maxima grill and always wondered if i could change my 96 maxima grill to the 97 maxima grill? I found them on ebay and they are really cheap, around 30 bucks, and i thought why not get it if it fits?

also u can change a 96 max front bumper to a 97 right?

I'm not sure about switching just the grilles but switching bumpers involves a LOT of unseen support parts that are different and you would have to take apart most of the front end to do so. I've wrecked my front end about three times. (only ONCE was my fault) but each time the body shop kept trying to put 97-99 parts on my 96 and things were not lining up.

+1 for the 96 front grille anyway! Love the one your with man!
