That's a 97-99 Maxima. He probably meant 99.

And tell him the Maxima doesn't have a timing belt, it has a timing chain.

Edit: and if it's a SE model, where are the fog lights? And if it was an SE, the door handles would be body color. He does have the SE white gauges and spoiler though...

Personally , if the person doesn't even know what year their car is , I would not deal with them.

What else are they making up / don't have a single clue about? That 100k could be oh **** yeah the cluster was changed at 274k with one that has 100k so therefore the car has 100k. Lol

Probably me being paranoid but that's how I see things

^^^This. I would walk away. Too many red flags!! Gauge cluster can be changed very easily. And I may be wrong, but I don't see a rear spoiler in the first pic but there is one on the second pic.

All the discrepancies in the listing and on the car, SE?? Half of it seems to be SE and half of it points to GLE. Something is not right with that vehicle.

Walk away.

2nd pic shows what appears to be tan cloth seats, not black leather

You also see the 3rd brake light as well...which means the spoiler was installed later. SEs didn't have the 3rd brake lighton the deck lid when they had the spoiler.

pic number 2 clearly shows splash guards that aren't on the other two pics

Also, the wheels you can barely see on the 2nd pic, not the same SE wheels on the other 2 pics.

In adition to all the above already mentioned.

Wow after a second look I see even more wrong. The second picture, the bumper on the left side is smashed in or maybe it's the quarter? The tails don't line up, neither does the trunk lid on that side. There's also mud flaps on the rear which aren't on the first picture. The whole thing is a mis match of pictures. Just caught the missing spoiler in the first pic too. That car has most likely been trashed and put back together again.
