Torsional play/clicking from driver axle not related top torn cv boot!

Hey guys, I have a bit of a dilemma I bout a remanufactured front cv axle from o'reilleys and I haven't had it on the ride for more than 3 months and I've been hearing this slight knocking sound when i let the clutch out. At first i figured it was my engine rocking and hitting against the frame or what not. I did an oil change yesterday and while I was under there I was turning the wheel and I noticed a bit of torsional play in the axle and I think this is what's causing the knocking sound. The cv boots are in great condition and I don't get the clicking/popping noise while turning, so this is not related to the usual axle problems! So being Raxles are out of the question, does anyone have a suggestion for other high quality non-oem axles? I get the oreilleys axles for free with the lifetime replacement but I don't want to run into this again soon!

It is cause you bought a remanufactured one... Or it is your wheel bearing causing the play or made that axle bad. The clicking is the axle though.

Actually it wasn't the axle at all. It was the iacv tapping around
