My 95 maxima has a cylinder 3 misfire. I changed the spark plugs, coil packs, fuel injectors and I ran a compression test. I don't know what to do.

Also I've been running 87 grade gas in my car for 2 months and I don't know what the previous owner used. I want to switch I've to 93 grade but will it affect the engine if there is 87 still in the tank?

 

What kind of coil pack did you get? Some aftermarket parts are not too good...

 

I hope you got NGK plugs and OEM coil. Switch the gas. Nothing will happen if you mix different grades gas.

 

+1 on oem coil and ngk plugs. Anything else will result in failure and lost money.

Try inspecting the wires that run to the coil and the injector and make sure everything is neato.

Im going to go out on a limb and guess you didnt get an OEM coil/ NGK plug as its a very easy mistake to make. However if you did, and all your wiring is correct, then you have me stumped.

run Chevron or Shell premium, and a tankful of Techron additive (or TC-W3 marine 2 stroke oil, 3.5 oz per tankful) in the tank...
