Amp FQ and Radio FQ for Sub

Hey all,

So, I have a ported sub in the truck at 600 RMS. Ive had it for a few months, seems to be running fine but im a little worried its overworking.

Mind you, ive had up to 1200 rms in my truck (sealed) and I have never found it to be this abusive in vibration.

Anyways, when setting up the frequency, I wanted it to sit at 80hz, but does that mean on one source I need to set the Frequency to 200hz?

Or do I set it the same for the amp and the radio? I'd much rather control the FQ from the radio.

Cheers

I don't follow your question.

You want the cut-off at 80hz? Just set your amp there.

where is 200hz coming from?

If it starts to distort then you are over working it.
