Former SE-R and new 2014 Maxima SV Sport owner, let the mods begin
Was on Nissan Club.com a lot when I had my Altima SE-R and also put on a group buy for Brian for his Cattman headers about a year ago on this site and Nissanclub. The SE-R was a great daily driver. It ran 14.1@102 with very minor mods. Well I sold it earlier this year and bought an M3 e36. The car was awesome but not a comfortable or a practical daily so I came back to Nissan mostly for the 3.5 and the look of the new Maxima Sport.
I ordered it yesterday and should be here Tuesday.
2014 SV with the Sport package in Silver with the dark Grey 19s. For those that don't know these come with tons of options- heated leather steering wheel, cooled and heated seat, etc.
I'll be modding the car as soon as I get it starting with the Consult3 2 degree timing bump. Gonna have the dealer do it before I leave the lot.

Thanks guys. So far I really like it. The manual shift mode makes it feel like a regular auto. I didn't think that it would. I always loved driving in manual mode in my SE-R so I'm happy the CVT can make it feel the same way.
I'm going to paint the brakes tonight with some quality caliper brush on paint. I'll post pics later tonight.

Wow!!! Great looking ride. You barely got the car but already doing stuffs to it. I bet the mileage on that car is <100. But has already stated seeing mods. You don't waste much time modding.
Tinted the 3rd brake light and debadged the trunk last night. I'm going to buy an SE-R emblem online and plasti dip it black with a red "R" like I did to my Alti. Should look good and people will wonder, "they made an SE-R Maxima?" LOL
I installed a sub and amp last night to the factory Bose system.
Figuring out where to put the power wire through the firewall was a little tricky. I've read on here to go through where the factory plug is on the far left side. Only problem is that bunch of wires are in big rubber plug that makes it very hard to poke through without potentially cutting a factory wire.
So I just drilled a hole about 4" to the right and then used a grommet and feed the 8g wire through. The hole is just above the parking brake.

It comes out perfectly.

I mounted the fuse to the cars fuse box cover. You can see I also installed my AEM intake.

For now since it fits decently good I'm using my form fitted 10" box out of my Altima.

I mounted the amp under the passenger seat (not enough room under drivers).
For those searching for which wires to tap into and coming up empty like I did-
On the 2014 Nissan Maxima SV with Bose the passenger rear 6x9 wires are brown and red. Red is Negative and Brown is positive. That's where you want to hook up your line leveler that converts to the RCA cables.
Also I was expecting to see a sub in the decklid but there wasn't?
Anyway it sounds awesome! Very happy!

Waiting for my HID fog light kit to get here. I ordered the 5000k 35w which should match the factory HIDs.
Also I was trying to figure out what to use to get rid of the amber glow when the headlights are off. Switchback bulbs I didn't want cause imo they change the look of the headlights too much and blur out the projector. I also didn't think spending $60+ on led 3457 and 194 bulbs was a smart choice.
So I'm going to see of this works. I bought this paint that's supposed to be used on the taillights. It is rated for up to 200 degrees. I hope the bulbs don't get hotter than that.
Here's a couple pics of my progress. Just waiting on the fog lights so I can do it all at once.

It's the same as buying those chrome bulbs.
