when they pull the ECU part number, if you're tuned the part number comes back with the text "uprev tuned ECU" after it. you'd have to flash the back-to-stock map which pulls the license off the car and returns the software to stock, which would then say the stock part number only for the ECU

for reference, in this screen you can see the ECU part number in the Uprev software. thats what changes when you have Uprev, they flash different software onto the ECU.

 

I figured I'd need to flash back to stock before any Dealership appointments. Although the car hasn't been back to the dealer since I bought it and won't be unless there's a warranty issue.
