'11 with 71K miles - any issues coming up?

We've owned our '11 since it was a new baby off the lot. We have put lots and lots of highway miles on her, and for a 2011, 71,000 miles is alot. We moved closer to work, so the miles have slowed down TREMENDOUSLY (from about 60 miles a day to 15)

My wife has been thinking about trading it in for a 2011 G37 or a G25 (awd or rwd, not a big issue) with about half the miles. We've found some great deals around here ranging from 20-22K.

We aren't really getting what we wanted for our car (13K) and we're still upside down on the payments to make a private sale.

She's little upset about it, and is scared with this many miles, car is going to start running into problems because it's getting high.

I wanted to ask everyone's opinion that has had their maximas at these miles and higher. What kind of mechanical issues have you ran into?

She has been trouble free since the day we got her. Not a single problem. we don't drive it hard, it's our family car.

let me also add, we love the car... we'd hate to sell it for something used. but the miles are scaring us.

on the other hand, my Z06 has 90K miles, and i've run into plenty of problems (ac going out, window getting stuck, replacing a coil), which have all been fixed. that's what she's afraid of. having the same problems as mine did

IMO... I wouldn't consider 71,000 miles high. Especially if you've owned the car since new... it also sounds like most of those miles were highway miles. I'd get the CVT fluid, brake fluid, and coolant changed. Then I wouldn't worry about it until 110,000 when the plugs need changing. Re-evaluate at that time.

Take care of the car and do the scheduled maintenence, this car can give you 250K if not a lot more. Taking good care of it is the key.

Thanks guys! we really took care of the car. all regular fluids changed etc.

but I test drove a '13 G37 today. WOW does that thing have some SERIOUS power. with that little extra power, and that 7 gear transmission, it really hauls *** for a 4 door car!!!!

for ****s and giggles, test drove a Q50 as well. That is a sweet car as well! I'll be selling my Z06 soon and be getting a car for around 50K. considered going to something like this because it was so nice, but I just can't give up on the power of my car. Maybe a 4 door CTS-V

Miles

I just turned 100,000 on my 2011, my 2nd max in a row and I'm still on the original brakes, 3rd set of tires though. I plan to run to 200. just sayin
