Questions about my new baby

So i recently purchased a 2009 Maxima SV with Premium and Tech package. (Nav, Dual Sunroof, Backup camera, Caffe Latte leather, Paddle Shifters and more) Only thing I was weary of was it had 60,000 miles on it but alot of people are telling me that for this car that is just breaking it in and will last forever if I take good care of it.

After taxes and tags and all that I spent about 17,500 would you guys say that is a good deal?

My other question is although the car drives like a DREAM, I have noticed that when I am sitting idle like at a red light or something, sometimes it is like I can feel the engine slightly rev. That is the best I can explain it. It is not super noticeable but I just want to know if its totally normal or if it could be symptomatic of an actual issue. It is very cold here right now if that matters at all.

Any answers or thoughts are much appreciated!

That's funny you asked that I have been contemplating asking the same type of question and have the dealer look at mine when I take it in before the 30 day elapses for a return . Anyways mine also has the slightest surge when at a stop with the lights on and everything too I noticed too that it slightly drops below 500 Rpm and then gets kicked back up . It is quite annoying and worried since I traded in my 2001 maxima with the same type of problem with 194000 miles on it .

I am thinking it's a small reprogramming issue of idle in the ECM . I have 20000 miles on mine so I am I'm the warranty period of 36000 miles . And the power train up to 120000 miles being a CPo .

Sounds like a decent deal. I just bought a 2011 with all the options yours has for 19,995. It has 33K on it but does come with a lifetime drive train warranty. Only thing I don't like about it so far is at very low RPMs it seems to run a bit rough like it is in the wrong gear, although it doesn't have gears. One I hit 2000 rpms it runs smooth. Other than that I like it.

idle

Boys, I've had 4 of these , one after the other and they all do if. The dealer will reset the idle ecm or some such nonsense but doesn't fix it. It's particularly more noticeable with the a/c on. Except for the bother, it won't hurt a thing. just sayin

I'd keep that car a long time then, I never heard of any car having a lifetime warranty on the drive train.

Yes it might not bother you but the sense of your car stalling at a light is pretty embarrassing and pisses me off when I just put out $20000 for the car .
