Whats up guys, new car-new member

Just bought a new 2013 last weekend. So far I love this car. I have a 2011 Juke so was already in love with the cvt. It's works better in the Maxima though. First surprise when I gassed up this morning and cost me $70. Looked it and was shocked this thing has a 20 gallon tank. My pickups had 24 gallon tanks. Anyways enjoying the ride so far....

I don't think it's a 20 gallon tank I almost ran it dry to the bone and only took 17 gallons to fill although the brochure says 20 it's simple math really I pay only $5-10 more to fill it from my 15 gallon 01 maxima .

Congratulations, these cars have a 18.5 gallon tank according to factory but some people here report getting 20 gallons in there tank, don't ask me it's just what I've read so he maybe right...I personally get about 17-18 gallons every time it fill up but of course it's not completely empty

Nissan sedans do have big tanks tho, my Altima had 20 gallon tank or it might of been 22 gallons I can't remember

Someone who loves the CVT, effectively making him buy another car with it? *Gasp*

Welcome man. Hope you have many long, trouble-free years with your Max

Welcome!
I'm also a fan of the cvt. Recently bought my wife a new pathfinder, and they have the cvt now as well.

well I would appreciate the cvt more if it actually brought along good mpg's with it. It just keeps the rpms low... but FYI it is a 20 gallon tank. it's said that 3 gallons are needed to cool the fuel pump which is supposedly at the bottom of the tank.

Thanks fellas, I bought that Juke when they first came out. I was about the first one in Okc to get one. It has 50,000 trouble free miles now. Everyone was telling me I was stupid for buying a new model with cvt but I though hell Nissan invented the thing. I love not changing gears and when I drive a conventional automatic I hate it. So yes the tranny was the main factor in getting the Max. My 16 year old is driving the Juke now. If only the 370Z had a cvt!
