Easy way to get oil out of the old oil filter.

Just stick a strong magnet to the frame above the pan you use to catch the used oil and then stick the filter to it. It will drain while the engine oil is draining.

Lol. I like it. The container I catch my oil with has a special place to put the filter. If you're just using a plain ol' open bucket though, that's brilliant. Clever.

Nice with the filter, but I still have to do something like you did with that foil there and it's a real hassle/pain in the ***. I might have to just fabricate something I can use every time to catch the oil from falling on to the frame.

Really hate the location of the filter =/
