Day time running lights (DRL) installation help (12824WLEDX1)
We'll I'm about to purchase this drl fire amazon they are the Philips brand, here's the full name-
Philips 12824WLEDX1 DayLight 8 High Powered Luxeon LED Daytime Running Light
I asked a shop around here and they said they will charge $65-160 just for installation....
I haven't really done any work on my car but it's a 2010 nissan maxima sport and all iv done is change the interior lights to LEDS, also plati dipped my rims.
My question is for that wire that I have to connect to the headlight wire, were can I find the wire?
Do I have to remove the headlight assembly?
Any install these and can help/ give tips?
Thanks guys!

Not sure if you solved your question yet, but I just happen to do this mod last night. Instead of using the Philips Daylight 8 though, I bought the
a then used the Philips Daylight 8 Module so the lights would dim when the headlights turned on, instead of turning off completely.
I chose the Philips Daylight 4 over the 8 because I did not want the DRL's to look like dots, which the Philips Daylight 8 does, because there are spaces between the LED's. on the Daylight 4, all 4 LEDs use four reflectors, but it looks like one nice big light, versus 8 individual lights for the Daylight 8.
Heres a pic of the wire I tapped into, which was in the fusebox under the hood! It is the Left Low Beam headlight, which was the BLUE wire, and I used a red Posi-Tap to tap into the line. I have included pics.

Hey, I'm curious to see how you mounted the lights and how the final install looks as well as pics of the lights on. Please share bc I'll be sold if they look sick!! Thanks
