I iz confused about Offsets

So can someone explain to me how the offset of rims effects the fit (high offset vs. low offset etc.) in basic terms?

Also I'd like to run this setup Front 19x8.5" +22 Offset Rear 19x9.5" +25 Offset on BBS rims but I want to make sure these low offsets will work?

Input please

So judging by that diagram my offset for the rims I posted will fit but will just stick out farther?

Right now I'm running 50 offset with 25mm spacers on the front and it's maxed out. So I would say 22mm offset is going to be too much unless someone else has this combo?
The rear should be OK....I'm running 27mm spacers on 50 offsets and there's still a little room but not much.

You will be fine. Some one is currently running 20x11 all around with very low offsets.

Depends on your suspension set-up too.

I'm rolling on BC coilovers so I can adjust them easily. I was just worried about the offset, I don't want a crazy amount of rim/tire sticking out.
