Well.. my CD player in the Bose 6-CD player finally died. No hope of a CD cleaner fixing it.

So...Question #1: if I buy a matching, used CD radio from a member, does the dealer have to program some type of security key to make the radio work (like tell the radio the new VIN number)??

Question #2: If I do buy another radio from a member, does anyone have one to sell where the CD player actually works? The price from a junk yard is way too high for my blood. If you have one, please let me know.

Question 1 I can answer. The radio does not need to be programmed whatsoever and will work in any 00-03 Maxima plug and play.

Question 2 I'd suggest checking Ebay and www.car-part.com you can sometimes find a working radio $60 or less shipped from those sites.
