Hey guys,

I'm fairly new to Maxima's, but after looking at some pics I noticed some cars with the amber tails where under the brake light, its amber instead of white.

Right now my car has the non-amber with the black outline. Where can I find a set of the black outline amber tails? And, what is the proper name for them? I tried searching eBay with no luck.

You can always paint it to get the right color.

 

Hm, I've never actually seen those outside of that one picture. You've seen other cars with them? PICS please

As for making it amber you can always paint it like said above, or maybe you can use 5.5gen tails and black out the clear? Or maybe even use the inside lens from these and use the black top from 5th gen tails (don't know if this can be done??)



The amber is what everyone wants to get rid of, so not a popular mod around here to say the least.

 

Thanks for the replies guys...I don't recall if I've seen these in person, but I saw some cars in the slammed maxima page on this thread which made me want them lol. I've always been a fan of amber tails....on my Cobra I put in 99/01 Cobra tail lights because they have the amber. If everyone tries to get rid of them, maybe I can find a set

I found this on eBay, but it's only one side, and has the clear outside. But, it's an amber. Does anyone know why some cars had these and some didn't? I would think these are japan spec tails because the amber but I'm not sure.
