Well, these tires replaced the XGT(Z)4's and those were some kick a** tires. The pilot sports are the best for summer tires, but the A/S are the best tires you can now buy for year around driving. good choice!!!

Pilot Sport A/S is one grade down from Pilot Sport.
I am using Pilot Sport (not A/S) 235 45 17. This is the tire that most Porsche and exotic cars are using. Pilot Sport is the best top of the line performance tires you can get from Micheline.

I just ordered a set of four Pilot Sports A/S 225/50/17 from Costco. I did a ton of research on the available tires before I bought these. First of all, Nissan designed the car to ride on 225/50/17, so I'm gonna trust them and will stick with those specs. But they certainly did not pick a very good tire: potenza? whatever.
The michelins are clearly the best, the only problem is then finding the best price. They run about $200-215 a tire. Tires Plus quoted me an out the door price of $1050, Discount Tire quoted me an out the door price of $950. I could have drop shipped a set of four from Tire Rack to a local shop for $849 and then pay them (~100-130) to mount and balance them. Then I give Costco a call and find out they have a $50 dollar off a set of four deal starting next week. So my out the door price is $831.70, which includes, mounting, balancing, valve stems, lifetime balancing AND rotation, and I forget what sort of warranty as well. IMO, too good of a deal to pass up around here. Y'all let me know if you find a better deal please.
