5th Gen...Want New Rims, any suggestions

Hello all.

Ok so i'm looking to lower my car and purchase some new wheels. Any suggestions on a place in SoCal that's reasonable? Anyone have any suggestions on which ones I should get? Currently car has stock ones.

Considering i'll probably go bigger than my stock which are 17s i'm going to need new tires so probably $1000- $1500 for the wheels but like to keep it closer to $1000 since I still need to lower it.

Any ideas on coilovers?

For wheels, I honestly always look on other car forums 350z, g35, lexus, etc or check craigslist. Great wheel/tire deals can be found both used and new.

I suggest checking out some pic threads, maybe you will see something you like. Mesh, Mulit spoke, deep dish, concave, colored or chrome, etc..

Since your in SoCal, you should ride in a few members cars that have lowering springs and coilovers so you can get an idea/feel for what you like and whats comfortable for you. That is if you did not do that already lol.

excellent suggestion...I haven't. few friends with scions lowered one springs one coilovers. had a civic before that was springs. havent driven anything with coilovers, didn't realize there would be a difference in the way it drives.
