P0134 code 2000 Maxima GLE
Hello All,
3 weeks ago, my Max threw off the P0134 code ( O2 Sensor No Activity Detected Bank 1 Sensor 1). I reset the CEL with my scan tool.
Car has been driven ~ 400 miles since I reset the CEL. I am fairly sure that 2 complete drive cycles (as defined by FSM) have been completed since the reset.
I rescanned this morning and 3 of my emissions readiness monitors have still not reset: EV, C, and O. There are no pending or active DTC codes in the scanner.
is it possible that a bad B1 SI O2 sensor would keep these monitors from resetting?
My mechanic suggests replacing the B1 S1 O2 sensor as a first step. Can the exisiting sensor be easily tested to see if it is good or no good?
Car runs fine, very smooth, no hard starts, no smoke from tailpipe, no noticeable difference in fuel economy.
