Is aftermarket stereo system w/2002 navigation possible?

I just ordered a 2002 SE loaded with everything including navigation. What I am wondering is if my current system in my Grand Cherokee (Kenwood KDC-X817 w/ 6 1/2 MB QUart "Q" series and 6 1/2 Coaxials for the rears) can be installed without losing the navigation capabilities? I want to install the Kenwood CD player below the Navigation where the tape deck is. Has anyone tried this and what about steering wheel controls? Are there adapters yet?

Thanks to anyone that can help.
