Where to check for corrosion/rust

Hey guys So i have already gotten the lower radiator support re done with the oem part and it came out beautiful. As of now i have some rust on my rear right quarter that is being taken care of in a few weeks; is there any other spots i should be aware of or are commonly rusted on the 4th gens while im getting other spots taken care of ?

Rear strut mounting points, check underneath everywhere especially the rear where the drain tubes exit.

Check out the rockers. IIRC there are three layers of metal between the outside and the carpet. In a couple spots all three of mine were gone, you could feel the carpet from the rockers.

I am in NY, my 99 has rusted in the following areas: radiator support, rear wheel wells (starts in the seam between the outside sheet metal and the inside liner), rear quarters where the sunroof drains go through, rocker panels, brake dust shields in the rear, lower front fenders in front of the wheel.. I had the radiator support replaced at a body shop, replaced both front fenders, and patched the rest myself.. Also a recent inspection found that the license plate lights were both out, and the metal bracket that holds them was rotted away and disintegrated when trying to remove the bulb covers.. That $50 part is on its way... As the original owner, I am determined to get to 200K miles, at 185K now...

Make your own license plate light bracket using this HowTo thread

Check the undercoat on the floor pans at the front foot wells for delamination/flash rust. Look for wet carpet after driving in the rain. Or if you're feeling ambitious, pull back the carpet and check the seems around the floor pans.
