Magnaflow or borla mufflers?

Ok sell I went to a shop to talk to the guy about getting magnaflow mufflers installed and he started to tell me to get borla mufflers and said their a better brand.
He wants me to get the borla pro XS, I was looking to get a magnaflow street series 14829 model installed but since he started telling me about the other option I told him I'll be back once I decide.

We'll I was wondering by you guys which one do you guys recommend?
Price is no problem because the magnaflow one is $175 each and for the borla he told me it's $175 also.

Hope I can get a good answer

Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the Magnaflow has the built-in tip where the Borla doesn't which means in the end you could spend more going the Borla route. As far as quality they're both stainless so that's good. Borla is a quality product....I have no experience with Magnaflow.

I have magnaflows on mine.
Both are good.
Magnaflow has a lifetime warranty, don't know about Borla.
They just have slightly different sounds as far as I know.

Ya that's true, he was telling me about that about not having the tips built in and cost more.

Still looking for which one I should get... Confused...

It's really personal preference, I'd go with a Borla; if the choice was given!!

I LOVE the stock sound. Very sophisticated and yet sexy growl.

Question. Can I take any magnaflow, borla, so on muffler essentially and just attach the thing to the stock pipes? Done and done? For instance I'm looking at a magnaflow muffler online and I'm wondering... these mufflers are suggested for my 2014 maxima, but does that mean it's a perfect fit?
