This is a tough question...

If you were to choose between a 2002 BMW 325i and a 2002 Maxima SE, what would you pick???

I agree, even though the Bimmer is sweet, it's a no brainer. MAX SE all the way.

BMW, even though I don't like the '02 facelift. For that kind of money I'd buy an '01 330ci.

i'd say the 325 is more for people who want to say "hey look at me i have a BMW" but can't afford one with any type of get up and go (teens and 20 somethings that no nothing about cars) IMHO, and no offense to the 325 owners, the 330 is a different story but will cost you more, if it's between the 325 and the max, the max is definitly the way to go, but to each his own

No contest. The Max. 3-series are too small. Now a 540 or so, then it would be tough.
