Nissan parts mostly from China now ?
I heard from a few friends that a lot of nissan parts were coming out of china now rather than the japanese suppliers like Denso.
Is this true ? this may explain a lot of their reliability issue with their new pathfinders and other cars.

I don't think I know of a manufacturer that doesn't have parts coming from China or Mexico. Of the Japanese manufacturers, I think Toyota uses more Chinese sourced parts nowadays, and of the US manufacturers GM gets the very large majority of their parts from Mexico. Even the Germans are using Mexican and Chinese parts. Hell, almost every VW that we see here in the states not only gets a lot of their parts from Mexico, but they're almost all built out there too. This is not something new to the auto industry, it's been going on for a good while now.
Frankly, if you're refusing to buy another car with Chinese sourced parts, then visit your local bike shop and invest in a tricked out Schwinn or something.
On second thought, the gears on that Schwinn are built in China so you might just need to buy some good running shoes.
