Fogs --> PIAA H3 Super Plasmas, StoneGuards

Everything's been delivered.

1) New set OEM fogs for 99 SE (Extreme Nissan: $240 delivered)
2) PIAA H3 Super Plasma bulbs (StylinConcepts: $34.95)
3) StoneGard protectors for fogs (Stonegard Inc: $19.95)

Has anyone used the PIAA Super Plasma's?
The stock H3's I removed from the new fogs had the "DOT" stamp
on the back of the H3 sockets, the PIAA H3's (do not) have this
stamp, am I illegial?

The PIAA's look like they may have finger prints on them.
OK to use alcohol to clean them up? I don't want to f*** them up.

Has anyone used the stonegard plastic on their fogs? any trick to sticking it to the lights besided following the directions?

I live in NE Ohio so the stonegards are important (this is the second
pair of fogs I have replaced so far)

Thanks!
This board is great, lots of great information and comments

Did the throttle body clean out last week, smoother idle, didn't
notice any performance/"gas mileage" gain.

Has any tried these bulbs? they REALLY look like HID.
I am very pleased with the bright white color, they make my
PIAA brightwhite headlights look yellow.
