Take the top screw off, and place flathead screwdriver between headlamp and corner lamp. Pry hard, you will not break the assmembly. When if come out, there are two ways to do it. The easy way, cut the higher nub off your bulb and stick the lower nub in the higher's nub's spot. Make sense? The proper way to do it: Cut wire running to bottom of assembly and replace currect positive to bulb with it. Hope this helps, although its very confusing,

Go to Chestons' site Maximadriver.com - there in the how2 section you will find a complete write up on how to do it correctly, meaning the rewire and NOT cutting the *** off the bulb. I know some people have had problems w/ the bulbs not staying seated in the socket w/ the *** cut off, so that is why I reccomend the rewire. Another thing of interest is that some people use a slightly lower wattage bulb so there is no heat or melting issue. All that info. can be found on Cheston's site. Good luck.

But...

The MaximaDriver directions are for a 97-99 Maxima and the 95-96 is very different. Trust me I've done it to both.

Ahhh, I didn't pay enough attention to your original post - that you have a 95 that has the higher wattage wire being used. I personally haven't done this re-wire but at least Chestons site will tell you how to get the corner lens out and if your electrically inclined at all you should have no prob after that. Good luck. BTW what kind of bulbs are you going to put in there? I am thinking about changing my bulbs out to some hyperwhites, either Polarg or PIAA.
