So I had my rear calipers/rotors/pads replaced last year fall here in rust belt Ohio. My passenger rear is fine and not rusting, but my drivers side is rusted bad. Should have painted them but didn't. Now my drivers rear seizes every few weeks and smokes bad. Could this be a bad caliper already? Would I have to bleed brakes when I replace the caliper. I am going to try and tackle this myself...

 

its not a big deal, when i change a caliper i just crack the bleeder and let it gravity bleed. within a few minutes fluid comes out, let it drip for a few seconds then close the bleeder, pump the brake pedal a couple times, crack the bleeder once more, done.

caliper shouldnt be going bad after a year, does sound like its seizing. might be under warranty no?
