Cruise control pedal switch PSA

At this age it's likely the plastic stopper for the cruise control switch behind the brake pedal is going to break. The one for the brake lights broke about a year ago (brake lights always on issue) and recently I noticed my cruise stopped working also.

The FSM has a long diag procedure for cruise control (would be much easier w/ a Consult) but before getting into any of that, check out that stopper. You may also notice some broken black plastic on your floor mats.

It's harder to see than the one for the brake light switch but is right next to it. One of the flat-topped plastic fasteners from the trunk panels is a perfect fit in a pinch.
