Side view mirror signal not working.

I have a 2010 Maxima (my first ) and just the other day the passenger side signal on the mirror stopped working. I went to the dealer and was told i had to replaced the entire mirror, which will cost $450...has anyone had to deal with this before? Thank you in advance.

If I recall from a member on here or some other 7th generation Maxima forum, the turn signal assembly for the mirror is interchangeable between the Nissan Altima of same year and can be purchased separately instead of replacing the entire mirror as you would for the Maxima.

Yes it's one of the biggest amounts of crap I've ever heard from Nissan. When I went to the dealership to get the part # (because I couldn't find the # online and I was out of warranty) he said I would have to order a whole new mirror. The cheapest I could find was a used one for around $80. I said screw that and did some research. Turns out the 07-12 (NOT THE 13 or 14) Altima uses the exacts same turn signal and Nissan sells it as an individual part for around $40. I would stay away from used. Other Maxima owners can tell you how brittle and fragile these get. I actually opened mine up in the oven and resealed them better clear silicon. Here are the part numbers.

Hello all, thank you for posting the part numbers but I'm having trouble finding them on courtesyparts.com and rockauto.com. have you guys been able to find them online or do I have to order directly from dealership??

Having same issue. To get the led signal or do we have to remove the whole side view mirror? If so, what are the steps? If not, what are those steps? Thank you

or if you just want to replace them here you go with the part numbers. They say they are for the altima but they are identical. I can contest to it.
