removing third brake light on rear deck

Im wondering how much of a mess is left on the rear deck if you remove the third brake light. the reason i am wondering is cause the max im buying has the led brake light in the spoiler but the previous owner had the spoiler added after he owned the car for about a year and personally i think it looks dumb with both of them on the car.

whats left is a hole and a connecting harness. you will have to buy the rear deck cover that goes over the hole for it to look nice
