Y-Pipe Fine ??
This hasent been covered on other threads so read on 
On my buddies mustang hes got an off-road H-pipe that is just as illegal as a Y-pipe on our Maxima's. If you get pulled over and the cop happens to look underneath your car and sees the H-pipe you get a $500 fine, True ??...Is this true with Y-Pipe's as well since there for off-road use too ??

Well, if a cop can tell the difference and knows that a Maxima has precats, and he jacks your car up, and there is good lighting, and ect. ect.
I guess anything is possible??? LOL
