Need help

I had the harmonic balancer separate and took out belts. Replaced everything and now when I start it, it turns over quite a few times before it starts. Wondering if crank sensor is damaged or it jumped time?

Look at the sensor and its wiring. See if there is any visible damage. I had a Maxima that had damage in the harness of the sensor and the car had hard time starting.

Yep, considering that the crank sensor is close to the crank pulley, there's no doubt probably some damage from **** flying everywhere

I just replace those POS with UDPs. Cheaper, problem solved for life, plus a little power is freed.

Thanks for the input. Didn't think about UDP already installed replacement. Did check and found damage to sensor will replace it.

replace sensor with a junk yard unit as a test....But I'm sure it's damage or bent too far away!
