my MIL light keeps coming on no mater how many times I reset it. It sais EGR valve and Knock sensor. I had my mechanic check it out on the scope aqnd it always through the KNock sensor code ans ocasionally the EGR. I replaced the EGR...no luck. Still trips the light. Except for the ocasional long start in the mornings it runs fine....HELP

 

drive it around for a couple more days and see if it trips another code.. at times something might be bad (eg. O2 Sensor) and the code will show up later..

if it doesn't change within 1 week after resetting.. then change the knock sensor
