New Rubber!

I new when I bought my 11' a couple of months ago that tires were on the top of the list.

With 29500 miles, the stock RSA (which suck new) were done.

After hours of internet research, dozens and dozens of reviews, I went with the Hankook ventus-s1-noble-2-h452 (http://www.hankooktire.com/global/pa...le-2-h452.html).

Have not been on the highway yet, but around town up to about 55 over very familiar roads, these things are great. Quiet and smooth, my two highest criteria.

When I get back to work Wed, I'll get the highway read, but I do not expect any surprises.

If they wear close to the 50K mileage warranty, I'll be pleased.

Nice. I also bought mine used. I currently have Good Year tires with ample tread, but I think my next set will be Pirelli. Anyone else have suggestions?

Good luck!!! Anything has to be better then the RSA's.

I'm scheduled to have a set of the new Michelin Premier A/S's installed next week. I wanted the pilot sport A/S3's but my practical side won, especially with winter snow coming...

I have the Michelin Premier AS's. I like 'em a lot. Much, much better ride and quieter than the GY RSA's. Will be interested in what you think when you get them...

There are many factors to consider when choosing a tire such as: Do I need a summer tire or all season tire. What are the important criteria to me such as handling, wet braking, tread life, noise, speed rating, etc. So there is no single tire that fits all.

And the oh so important price factor. I have no snow/ice concerns so this wasn't a factor for me. My wife's Equinox has 43,000 miles on the original Hankook's and they ride great and have lots of life left on them. I was not looking for maximum lateral g'force possible, smooth riding, quiet, long treadware, and good wet weather were my criteria.

They're getting installed Wednesday. Good to hear that you like them!!! Honestly anything has to be better then the RSA's. Those tires are treacherous in the rain!!!
