The trenz grille looks good but you're all right, it is too shiny. i have the valence and it looks really good, but the grille and valence is just too much shiny aluminum up front. I like the stock grille (97-99) a lot, the 95-96 grille needs to be replaced or changed because it is way too boring. The mesh grilles look good, but ONLY if they are done right, otherwise they look like crap. The emblem doesn't make too much difference, but I think it looks better on.
All in all, Id say stock 97-99 is the best, and mesh w/ emblem 95-96 is the best. We all have our opinions so you can tell me to go sh*t in my hat if you wish....

yeas i did exactly that...took out the emblem and have jsut the stock 95 grille.....it looks nice especially far away.......but everyone has their opinions!

The SMX is the best looking after market grille by far. Yes it has a similar shape to some of the Pontiacs, but, I still feel it looks much better than any of the Trends or "homemade" grilles that I have seen.
