Hey, rattling from under my hood started today when I put my car in reverse. I looked to see what it was & it was my pop charger rattling up against metal under my hood. It is not a big deal only that it is loud and annoying. Has anyone had this problem before & what can I do to get it to stop? Thanks.

I have a generic pop charger so mine didnt come with the mounting bracket so what I did was use a piece of weather stripping (foam with 2 sided tape) and stuck it on the fender where it hits.

 

Where did you get this weather stripping? Also, did no one else have this problem? or do you all not know what to do about it? I need your help.....

 

weather stripping is at OSH or home depot. Like I said, there was a discussion about these pop chargers hitting the fender due to the brackets getting loose. Use the search to find out. I thing the topic was called "Pop charger warning" or something like that.

 

The brackets are not loose. The pop charger lays against something under the hood because there is nothing to support it.
