Squeaky Brake Pedal

I did a search but couldn't find anything on the 7th gens for squeaky brake pedal. I just bought my 2011 SV last week with 51K miles on it. The noise is really annoying. Not super loud but it get old when you are creeping along in bumper to bumper traffic. I tried to look up under the dash and I saw some over spray where maybe the last owner tried to fix it. Does anyone else have this problem? How do I fix it? Thanks.

Someone ended up saying it was the brake booster - replaced under warranty if you have it!

Sorry dude, 60000km here is still warranty. Forgot, I'll try and find you the link with the video -- the dude pumps the brake you can see if it's the same thing or not

And upon even more reading I noticed you clearly mentioned. It in the OP :|

Did you get it covered under warranty or no?

I got an extended warranty when I bought the car.. Had it done today at the dealership along with the A/C. The O ring was leaking on the low side of the A/C line. NO MORE SQUEAKS!!

I just started getting this squeaking pedal, but when i checked the booster it is getting a damn good vacuum seal so it isn't really "broken" other than making that annoying squeak.

It's funny how the dealer's response will be replace it because then they make the money on the part and the labor rather than just making sure the booster and switch are ok then actually fixing the squeak. Oh well, I don't care since that's warranty work for me. I will b*tch heavily if they try to give me any grief over my akebono brake swap since that has nothing to do with this issue.

On the invoice that I received said the booster had an "internal failure"...the squeak wasn't loud but I wanted them to change it since it was very annoying.

Squeaky Brake Pedal

So I brought my 2010 Maxima to the dealer today in regards to the squeaky brake pedal annoying sound. I see a lot of people have different answers, but for my car on the invoice it states; "tech found that the brake rod was rubbing against the dust boot, which caused the squeaky noise of the brake pedal. Technician lubed brake rod to correct noise issue." That has fixed my squeaky brake pedal issue and it feels more responsive now too.

Just got all four of my brake pads changed and now I'm having this issue. I took my car back after hearing the sound and the service adviser, I'm guessing lubed the brake rod which only fixed the issue for a few hours. The squeaking has returned and it's driving me nuts. Looks like it's the brake booster.

I have a 2013 maxima and i had this noise 3 F** times and everytime the dealer changed the brake booster under warranty which will last without noise for almost a year. so every year i used to replace the brake booster. I dont get why nissan doesnt provide a modified part instead of fixing the same booster which obviously is having a manufacturing defect!!! now my warranty is over and the noise is back again. and i wont change the booster which is so expensive. I hope someone has an alternative solution
