89-92 fuel injectors

I believe the 2 options of fuel injectors for 89-92 square top injectors are the blue dot and black dot if I'm not mistaken. Would anyone happen to know their differences and if one is any better than the other?

Hi CMax, I did read your thread on the 93-94 injector upgrade. I have a 94 fuel rail and lower intake but I had put all new injectors on my 92 about a year ago so being they were all new injectors and I had also got a new sub harness for 2,4 and 6 so it just seemed like a waste for now if I went and scrapped those new parts and paid for all new injectors over again but after getting a good amount of use out of what I already have I would definitely consider the 94 upgrade. The reason I was wondering about the blue dot and black dot is that im eventually going to be pulling the intake to swap with a polished one and when the injectors were installed im not 100% if they were changed consistant blue or black but I'm sure they were being the car runs great and i also checked the plugs after changing them recently and it doesn't seem like any one cylinder is firing worse or better than the other.

I'm not sure but I think my Oem 94 injector had a pink dot....I'm happy with my swap, you will have to open up bank 1 harness to cut the injector harness off and solder in the 93-94 injector connectors (EZ job), i know it's sounds like alot of unnecessary work but if you follow the upgrade you'll never regret it.
