Ebay LED's & DRL's

I'm looking around at CarID for interior lights, DRL's and such. I'm curious if anybody has found reliable parts on Ebay? If so can you link your seller and your experience with the product?

Thanks!

88 people took a peek, and none of yinz have purchased an ebay set of DRL's or interior LED lights? I guess this answers my questions.

Morimoto x.DRL and am very happy; cut each brake vent very neatly so there was just enough room for DRL to fit and then bonded it -- looks OEM. Morimoto is a great name and they stand by their products.

Good luck.

Help Decide

So I'm looking on ebay at these http://www.ebay.com/itm/12-White-LED-Lights-Interior-Package-Deal-For-2009-2012-Nissan-Maxima-/161085121541?fits=Model%3AMaxima&hash=item25816be405 for about 38 bucks.

Or do I go with Lumen on CarId and buy each piece separately? Which is going to cost considerable more.

Tramel, did you buy a conversion kit from him or just a few pieces?

I got one of those packages off amazon for like $20 which included all interior and license plate lights. I've had them for 2 years now, and still work as good as when I first purchased them

Thanks Tommy.

As I continue my search, I found 6k fog light bulbs. Does anybody know what the stock fog lights are in terms of brightness? They look yellow and I'm going for the white look to match my HID headlights.

Here's the link I'm looking at... http://www.ebay.com/itm/141150287488

I second Tommy's amazon link I did the same. Most of them are made in China anyway usually its about the shipping time, and how long you are willing to wait vs overpay because its local.

VLEDS.com for interior LED.

Don't all LEDs are made the same

You get what you pay for.

I beg to differ, if talking circuits for example a g10 housing then yes. but with an LED and a simple resistor its hard to mess up. The type of LED they use aren't 'cree' most of the time but they still last and in my case I'd rather buy 1 set for 20 and then replace if needed, altima had them for 3 years without issue -- I expect these to be the same.

The only thing I have noticed is the lead outs are just wires and sometimes don't align.

I bend them to the sides to make sure they touch the conductor on the bulb insert.

I can post a picture when my new ones come in.

I vouch for VLEDs. I've did almost all my interior lights with them. Super bright and at least in my case, I'm supporting a local company.

I'd rather buy from USA companies than cheap Chinese companies. The quality difference is significant, but if you want to keep messing with interior LEDs every 6 months then I guess we all have our differences.
