I want to make sure that the DRLs will work the way I want them to. I will buy the switchback drivers as well, I want the DRLs to turn off when the headlights turn on. I use the auto headlights, so will this still work?

You won't need the switchback drivers but instead a Relay which will tell the DRLs to turn off when your headlights turn on.
