turbo VS summer

Good day all

You know that in the middle east the temperature now is rising.
In these days it reaches 45 Celsius. Life without A/C is just like
Throughing myself into the oven.

I have disconnected fans temp sensor so the fans starts
At their full speed . Drove my car for two hours the temp reached
220f with A/C on . Thats really dangerous status for turbo cars.

Ok so Im trying to modifie the fans to get better cooling .
Any suggestions ?

Hi speed motor fans ??
Blades ??
Extra fan ??
Thermostat ??

For your info
I have moshimoto rad

I would wire a switch that controls your fan. That way if it gets too hot, just pull over turn off engine and flip switch. Alternatively, you could just not use your ac.

From: Southern California
Huge all aluminum radiator ( ie griffin, maybe mishimoto)
Add a bottle of Water Wetter
80% water, 20% coolant mixture

Once you are cruising, a fan really doesn't help with cooling. A fan's job is to pull/push air when the car isn't move fast enough.

You best bet is to run a big radiator, also look into running an oil cooler.

What oil do you run? In a past car I drove (stock turbo), it would fry cheap oil. I had to run synthetic 0w40.

Last is the tuning, is the car running lean, or very rich? This can cause the engine to overheat too.

It sounds like he's already running the fans full bore all the time.

I would confirm that both fans are indeed running. Then I'd add the water wetter and make sure the cooling system is fully bled correctly. You can find instructions in this forum. Do it correctly.

Finally I'm fairly certain that there are aftermarket high performance fans. Now whether they fit with your turbo setup, I don't know.

And . . . damn it is hot out there.

Here's a few suggestions based on your Environmental factors:

1. First take a look at the A/C condenser - it gets clogged with sand and other road debris. Since condenser sits right in front of the radiator, it will prevent a lot of air flowing into radiator when it's clogged. Replacing a clogged a/c condenser will help bring more air to the radiator. Make sure your mishimote Radiator is not clogged either.

2. Electric fans which flow much more CFM - They DO have bigger Current draw, that requires a bigger relay and better gauge wiring to support it.

3. HELP THE TURBO. to help with power and engine reliability, it would be great to cool the intake charge and run boost SAFER and LONGER in HOT temps by adding a water/meth injection kit.

well , its totaly messed up , because drive it only for maintenace or washing it onece a year

the fans are out of stock , but I have two mishimoto fans that came with my radiator and I installed them .

I have replaced the water of the radiator , it was 50-50 , now 20 grean 80 clear .

I started the car with A/C for 20 minets ,but did not drive it because the weather was good this night, and it did not go Above 190 F.

i will test it on the day time on hot weather .
