My Turn - '16 Deep Blue Pearl Premium w/ 18" Rims

Yay I dumped the '09 and got the '16. Took some different shots of some kool features:
- Speed limit sign on the behind wheel dash
- Diamond pattern in wood panel
- Diamond pattern seats
- Silver trim on window buttons

The roar in sport mode reminds me of my '11 M3 (close but obviously not the same). That and the '09 maxima got dumped and just got this - wonder what that means....

These blues are very rare on the lots - either they're not popular or Nissan hasn't produced many of them.

Nice.. enjoy!
I guess that speed limit thing only shows up because you are actively navigating to a destination??

I'm also curious if they've color matched the car icon with the actual color of the car...

My first instinct is to say the blue is simply matching the blue of the dash lighting, but that is a guess.

I am glad to see netjack showing the diamond pattern in the woodgrain trim in the Platinum. When I saw that while sitting in the Platinum at my dealer last month, I was very impressed.

Just some advice - DO NOT let your eyes get around three feet from the ground within fifty feet anywhere in front of this 2016 Maxima at night when all the lights are on. I made that mistake and was blinded so badly I had to sit down for awhile.

Ok some more pics of interesting details coming your way...

Color icons for SiriusXM channels (it's like going from analog to digital coming from '09 to '16):

Whoa looked what I grabbed while turning - a D wheel! It makes the wheel feel so much smaller, tighter, nimble:

I noticed the inside driver door pic and saw only driver and passenger auto up and down window controls...Wth...why not have all the windows on the Platinum??? I have that on my 2010 and love it. Grrrr....

It almost looks like there is a small uneven section in the stitching above the instrument panel in this pic. Is that the case - or is it an illusion??

Congrats!!

There is a ridge that goes towards the windshield at that spot. So you are seeing a bump, there is also one on the other side of the wheel.

Nissan did away with the automatic feature on the rear door windows beginning with the 2011 Maxima. They said that feature ranked low in customer surveys. I know I have used it thousands of times, mostly because of the miserable heat here in middle Georgia. I am always adjusting the windows.

Same here - multiple times almost every day all summer. What have I become?? Heaven forbid that I should have to hold those buttons for over 4 seconds!!

This coming from someone who refused to order cars with cruise control in the 70's on the premise - "If I'm too lazy to hold my foot on the gas pedal, then I'm too lazy to drive!"

Lol, I remember when you got your 09 at Bruce Bennet Nissan. I am holding on to my 09 for a while longer. Good luck.

Remote start makes the auto windows obsolete to me.
